What is it?
Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and oedema (swelling).
How I use it
It’s not just during pregnancy that this type of massage is an ideal choice. Shortly after birth during the post-natal phase a new mother’s body is again going through lots of changes, whether she has given birth vaginally or via C-section. Giving birth is very traumatic for the body so it’s even more important that the mother feels supported, safe and is able to feel relaxed. I adapt my treatments for pre and post-natal mothers so you can rest assured you are in safe hands.
